University President Remegita C. Olvida signed the Memorandum of Cooperation with HYTEC Power Inc. on October 22, 2013 at the latter’s office address in Novaliches, Quezon City. Dr. Eloida O. Quezada , SDSSU Director for Extension Services and Training and Hytec Power, Inc. Administration Manager Maricar R. Tranquilino stood as witnesses during said signing of the covenant.
Upon signing the Memorandum of Cooperation both parties commit themselves to undertake the following :
1. to identify growth sectors and key employment generations in the economy;
2. to match learning outcomes with industry standards;
3. to align curriculum and admission in tertiary education along PPP priorities; and
4. to conduct regional, national and international trainings participated by SUCs and HEIs using experts of both parties.
This partnership through both parties common conviction for quality and relevant higher education is essential to the long term solutions to global challenges.
